How to update the theme

Here's a streamlined version of the update process for this WordPress theme:

  1. Log into your account and download the latest theme.
  2. Save the theme file to your computer.
  3. Install an FTP program like Filezilla (it's free).
  4. Retrieve your FTP login information from your hosting admin panel and log in to your hosting via FTP.
  5. Unzip the main theme file.
  6. Locate the theme.zip file (e.g., Raos.zip) within the unzipped folder. Ensure your unzipping software doesn't create nested directories with the same name. You should find the theme files directly within the main folder. Otherwise, your theme might not function correctly and may appear unstyled.
  7. Drag and drop the theme's main folder into your FTP program, with the destination: "YOUR_HOSTING_ROOT/YOUR_SUBDIRECTORY/wp-content/themes/".
  8. If prompted, choose to replace all existing files.
  9. It may take 15 to 30 minutes to replace all files.

Once done, proceed to update the "Raos WordPress Theme Plugin Bundle":

  1. Deactivate and delete the older version of the Raos WordPress Theme Plugin Bundle.
  2. You'll see a notice stating: "This theme requires the following plugin: Raos WordPress Theme Plugin Bundle."
  3. Click "Begin installing plugin" and then activate it again. Alternatively, manually upload the plugin from the "Add New Plugin" section.
  4. The plugin zip files are located inside the documentation folder.
